  The staff here are so horrible and the worst it wasn't even my experience but another that I witnessed. I was in the waiting room when a lady approached the front cause she couldn't breathe. You could hardly even understand her. Her voice was horrible like clearly something was wrong and the Miss upfront didn't even bother to look up from the computer screen.. She just responded with "have a seat" in the most stern tone of voice. I'm pretty sure they go through things like this often and the lady might have known it wasn't serious but I couldn't help but to feel bad for the lady. She could have assured the very least that she would be fine. The lady was in tears as she was telling the lady upfront. A little compassion can go along way.

  My dad was airlifted to this hospital 2 and a half weeks ago. This facility is the worst place you could ever leave a loved one. The entire place is crawling with transients. The building is disgusting. The medical staff is below par also. With my daughter fighting cancer I have a lot of experience inside of hospitals. I wouldn't send my enemy to Kern Medical. The final straw was my dad has Kaiser and Kaiser wanted my dad at a Kaiser facility. Last night he was transferred to San Joaquin community hospital and Kern Medical thought it would be ok NOT to call my brother or I and let us know that he has been transferred. I give Kern Medical ZERO stars.
