- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Maria Rueras. Incompetent MD. Never again. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to be seen. She was exhibiting various symtopms (e.g. sore throat, fever, cough, yellow/green mucus, both nasal and respiratory). Maria Rueras didn’t feel that antibiotics were “justified”. Told me to wait it out. That if I needed to come back or go to urgent care, to do so. This was on a Friday. The following Monday I got a second opinion. Turns out my daughter had pertussis. Otherwise known as whooping cough. Antibiotics were very much needed. If you have any other option, see a different doctor. This doctor is the type that would rather have you wait than to treat an infection early on.September 27, 2017by Josh Lykins
