  Until recently I have personally had a great experience with Dr. Alvarez. He volunteers at community events and likes to help the underserved community, and he was a wonderful doctor for me! That is how I knew him. Although, recently I highly recommended my daughter to utilize his services at Valley Medical Group in Bakersfield, CA. My daughter has had a terrible medical problem with muscle spasms on her arms and lack of Vitamin D. I suggested to her Dr.Carlos Alvarez and the Valley Medical Group. To my disappointment, Dr. Alvarez and his staff were of no help and basically very rude to her. Told her this is not a medical problem, and it was a psychological problem. After my daughter discussed with me how Dr.Carlos Alvarez treated her I was so totally disappointed in him. This is a man I know personally, from his voluntary community services to his profession. If you and your staff read this post Dr. Alvarez, I want you to know you went from a pedestal of the highest ranks to a shithole in my books! I honestly held you in very high regards at one point in my life.
